The rear wiper is operated using the same stalk as the front wipers. There will be a "twist" control - pull it back to operate the wiper, pull it back past its resistance to operate the washers. If the front wipers are on, then when you engage reverse the rear wiper will give one sweep to clear the window.
To lock car without setting alarm sensors: open drivers door ( not sure if completley necessary), insert card in reader, remove card, re-insert card, remove card. hut door and lock in the normal way. You should hear 3 faint beeps to confirm this.
The next time you lock car the sensors will automatically re arm, unless you repeat the above.
Tyre pressure sensors - the valve may be broken, the valve sensor may be missing. The sensor elctronics are located in a box under the car, it can be prone to water damage - may be loose/dirty/connections there.
Do you get any error messages or flat tyre warnings?
Each tyre has a colour coded sleeve on the tyre valve ( the colour coding and location for the tyres is on the drivers door). These must be in the right order, otherwise the car will think you have a front right problem when infact it is the front left etc.
Normally if they are in the wrong place you get a error, as you do with a missing one ( if spare tyre is fitted,it doesn't have a pressure sensor valve).
If you do a search fopr "tyre pressure sensors" or similar on here there are numerous threads about it and various methods of curing the faults. There is also info on the colour coding and the correct locations for each colour/wheel.
