Unhappy 02 Laguna 2.0 IDE - Sensor & Display Problems

I have a couple of problems with my Laguna (02 plate, 2.0 IDE ).

The door has left partly open for a couple of weeks and completely drained the battery. Have fitted a new battery, re-set stereo, windows etc but have now got 2 problems - not sure if they are related.

1. The rain sensor (1st position) doesn't work. There appear to be 2 sensors behind the mirror but only one of them (drivers side) lights up. If I cover these the rain sensing wipe still doesn't work. Also, with wiper in position 2 the wipers become intermittent when I stop - I didn't notice this before.

2. When I start the engine and get a tyre pressure check only one or sometimes 2 of the tyre readings are displayed (drivers rear always, passenger rear sometimes, front never).

Is there something I need to do to reset these after changing the battery?

Cheers and Merry Christmas...

Strange things can happen to the ECU when a battery is removed or flat, it probably needs a reset by a garage with the right computer.

sensor problem

Wipers sound as if they are working fine as are set to your speed ie wipe harder the faster you drive ;; .
As for your tyre sensors i take it your getting the orange sensor fault light and only finding a couple of tyres ?
take your car for a drive for about 10 mins it should find the tyres if this doesn't work dissconect battery and leave for 30 mins reconnect and this should sort it .
If still no joy try turning ignition on and letting down one of your front tyres down and then pump it back up .

I don't know why but about once a year my car gets the sensor fault and this process seems to sort it after all its a renault and i have learnt to live with it lol .

Thanks ide man
