Radio Removal

Can anybody tell me how to remove the radio from my 2003 Initiale Sport Tourer.

It has two slots at the bottom, what sort of keys do I need.

I want to check that I have a live connection to it, as I can't turn it on. (Checked all the fuses I can find including behind ash tray!!)

Currently in RobDean's garage:

You can get them from halfords, its a case of slide them in and pull outwards and tug. it should come out,

are you saying your radio is not working?

you need a live tester or amp meter and probe the wires from the iso plug when you put the key card in the slot, ther should be a constant live and a secondry live turned on through the key lot, if it is the radio and you want to replace it with another renault one i think i still have my origanal lag headunit in the garage.

BUT ideal oppertunity to replace with an alpine,
