Your right, there is no relay. Was interpreting the diagram wrongly!
I'll connect my multimeter up tonight and see if the horn itself has died. Think I'll replace it with an aftermarket one if it has.

On the track rod ends, I've soaked then in WD40, heated then and shocked them but no go. Got the colar off, cut the locking nut off but still no go.
Starting to wreck the steering rods spanner flats now so time to admit defeat and give up!
Hate having to admit defeat.
Sorry to hear that. That the trouble with them they get all the road scum and water and not being changed for years its not so bad if your getting your tracking done every year makes work on them that bit eseyer when going to change them all the best

The Horn

Fixed the horn!
Turns out that there are 2 fuses and 1 relay for the horn!

Fuse 15 in the glove box and the other fuse is attached to the relay in the relay box above the battery. My hunch was right....

Opened relay and gave a good lube and clean. All now works!

Car is with the garage who are carring out remaining work needed to get it therough the MoT. Fingers crossed, wallet at the ready!

tip mate try blowing a load off wd 40 up the trumpets of the horn whilst operating them helps to lubricate them as there air horns they get all the crud n crap thrown in them .also check the inlet to your air filter if its low down on the engine bay floor move it first time you hit a large deep puddle it will suck water into your engine and wreck it .
