ESPACE- Interior Fan only works on full speed

M reg espace. The interior fan blower only works on top speed, very annoying. Is it relatively simple to change the component that controls the speed of it. Apparently its quite common. Can it be done from inside or from the engine bay. Any help would be great.

Hi there is photos of this somewhere on the forum i think its a relay or a resistor problem under the top dash board around the speaker area but not sure i think if it cleaned up and i little spray of the gentle persuader WD40 it works.

Put a search in to try and find this i hope this helps Donald

It sounds like the resistor pack, I think the top of the dash may need to come off for access

Hi Adypeach, if its the resistor pack on a Mk2 phase 2/3 Espace then the only way in is through the engine bay, under the sound proofing/fire proof material that covers the heater matrix and blower assembly.

Plenty on instructions in the forums, do a search on Espace and resistor pack.

Despite what Haynes say you can do it without stripping the whole lot out.

Hope it helps

Why is it the older I get .... the better I think I was ?
