I used 4 wooden kebab sticks (like coctail sticks but thicker!) These are about the same thickness as coat hanger wire that Donald suggested.
Push them about 3 or 4 inches into the 4 holes and the radio will then pull out.
It's not necessary to buy a set of 'pullers'.
Snap. That's exactly what I use, although it's advisable not to grill the steroe afterwards
