Exterior Temp Guage reads very low

hello im new,

Getting low temperature readings on the exterior temp guage. Probably about 15 deg c under what the real temperature is???

what could this be and do you think this is why my air con is intermittant?

Yes - if you have climate control in your Lag, it is linked with the exterior temp sensor.
The sensor itself isn't adjustable. You will need a new sensor. These can be bought from a Renault dealer relatively cheaply, or at least not much more than buying from ebay ! The sensor is located underneath the passenger side mirror. I believe it is fairly straightforward to replace.
There may even be instructions elsewhere on this forum how to do it, as it has cropped up a few times before.
