Clio II Immobiliser

Hi all
New to the forum so not sure if anyone else has had this problem. the wifes 52 plate clio immobiliser keeps playing up, basicly when trying to start the car, the immobiliser light just flashes quickly and then after a few trys stays on. is ther any way of bypassing the immobiliser..? or a solution to sort the problem out..?

not to sure if this wil work, but i had a similar problem on a nissan micra. the only way i got it to sort out was to disconnect the battery for about 20 mins and then came back out, reconnected it up and it had sort of "reset" the immboliser so to speak and it started fine. didn't ever happen again either.

would be worth a try anyway until some1 a little more technologically minded could give you a more detailed answer. let me know how you get on

Had this with my Kangoo van. When light flashes quickly turn the ignition off and as you turn it on again press the button on the key.
