Question Disabling alarm

I've got the classic Megane immobilizer problem where my remote key stopped working. After researching the problem on the Internet, I worked out my 4 digit bypass code and successfully entered it into the car. The engine immobilizer is now turned off and I can start the engine, great! However, the alarm is still going off.
Can anyone tell me how I get the alarm to turn off? Otherwise I am going to have to drive it to the dealers with the alarm going!!

Well, that's the purpose of the bypass code - to get your car to a garage and have the main problem fixed.

What type is your key - IR or radio, and what type of alarm you have? If it is additionally installed there must be a reset switch near the dashboard someplace. And are you sure that the problem is not with weak batteries on the key?
