Twingo retrofit help

Hello to all, especially to anyone who can help

Joined the forum tonight, as I have read loads of interesting threads on various things as a guest, and as I've googled various things, the forum keeps coming up in the searches.

I have a 2008 Twingo Dynamique 1.2 16v in red, got it late last year and love it. Since getting it I've made some minor changes, but I'm keen to keep it as OEM as possible, one of the changes was installing a HID conversion, Wow what a difference that made, Bright! - it's like driving around with a couple of Sun's strapped to the front of the car!!

As I say I don't want to change the car too much from OEM, I just want to make some improvements, so the next thing I'm going to do is fit Bluetooth, but I don't want to fit an after-market head unit, or external Parrot system. So I've got an OEM Twingo Bluetooth head unit (From a Twingo RS and found on eBay , a reputable car salvage company), along with a steering wheel audio stalk, with the telephone controls, I've also got the face plate etc.

Has anybody retrofitted a Renault OEM Bluetooth head unit to a factory non Bluetooth equipped car? if so what changes were made, I've read a thread where some have fitted different display's where previously there was only a tray in the dash. which I would imagine is fairly intesive, so I know it can be done, and maybe I need to speak to Renault, but would love to do it myself, so if anybody else has done this, I'd really appreciate some tips.

Thanks Jack

Re: Twingo retrofit help

Hi,yes it's possible! i have retrofitted to my clio 3.You will need the wiring harness, wheel stalk, and trim.First of all try to find somewhere the renault visu.Has all the electrical schematics and connections. You will need this,as buying the harness will cost you over 130gbp!! Run the harness from stalk to radio-cd then to mono-color display and finally, through the front right A-pillar to the middle sunvisor's joint in the middle of the front end of your headliner. No coding is necessary.
