Wink Renault - Espace - Lights Keep blowing

Can anyone help problem with the lights on my renault espace, they keep blowing a fuse heaters are now not working and since the lights have blown my brake lights have also given up has anyone come across this before
Currently in cath96's garage:

Hello and welcome to the forum.

It sounds like theres a short in the system somewhere,but it's always a job to say exactly where it is.Just out of interest,have you got a tow bar with electrics fitted to your Espace?.If you have,then this is the favorite place to start as moisture can get into the plug socket and cause havoc with the cars lighting system.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....

Welcome to the forum cath. Do the fuses only blow when you put the lights on ? Does the heater work when the lights are off ?

It may be worth checking the fuse box to make sure there is no corrosion of the contacts in there as well
