Hi GENTS.... i contacted Keyrepair, by e-mail, only to find he lived about 2 miles from me... he invited me round to his abode and i waited while he fixed the key... which worked perfectly after.. albeit it stopped working again after 2 days ... but no problem he says its probably another dry joint and he's gonna have another go again, even after my problems i would well recommend him to all in the future..

Renault Laguna Key Card Repair Keycard

Sounds to me like one of the microswitches has come off the circuit board inside. There are members who have opened up the keycard themselves and fixed the switch back on, but for 24 you can have it done by someone who has done it many times before. It all depends on how good you are with a craft knife and the super glue.

My card key for laguna 2002 fell in water. It was working intermittently afterwards, but then I took the battery out to dry it, and must have kept the battery out for lnger than a minute or two. So now it doesnot work! I got a new battery but still.

Any idea how to sort it out or re-porgram it without having to go to the dealer to be ripped off? Who is that guy who can fix then? what is his contact number? and would he be able to fix this kind of problem?
