alternator regulator removal
have you got the dreaded no charge light on and the belt is ok and looking at spending mega bucks for a new alternator well 90% of the time its only the regulator that has gone many alternators you can replace the regulator and all will be well again i am lucky my local scrap car dealer lets me have the regulator for around £3 this way i can test the alternator first
this bosch one is from a scenic its fitted on many renaults
disconnect the battery remove the alternator i was lucky i had room to replace the regulator with the alternator in place
once out remove one screw and 2 nuts

remove the cover and you will see 3 screws

and there you have it one regulator remove just fit the new one and away you go

ebay sells them and many car spare outlets

Well you can on my Scenic. & these people sell them http://www.vehicleelectricsshop.co.uk
And Valeo have a products catalogue, but forum rules prevent me linking to that.
Google "Valeo regulator" like I did.
