Steering wheel controls - Alpine

Alpine CDA-9847R Ipod Ready CD/MP3 Tuner: Headunits - MP3 Players - CDA-9847 - Car Audio Design- lowest prices ever on DVD/MP3/ CD/ GPS Navigation/ Multimedia & Vehicle security with up to 70% Discount

Am thinking of getting this for my 2007 Clio with the Update-list already installed. It says the unit is compatible with steering wheel controls + even display. Will I need to get anything else to get it working?

Hello Viking, have a look here, they do a multitude of harnesses etc for aftermarket stereos. I didn't look myself to see if the Clio is listed but it may be.

you need to get two things for you head unit to work with you steering wheel controls. You need to get a vehicle interface and a radio interface.

If you take a look here Car Audio Direct - The UK's leading car audio and stereo resource. it shows you the radio interfaces you just need to select the make of your head unit.

And here Car Audio Direct - The UK's leading car audio and stereo resource. Is ther Renault Vehicle interfaces you just need to find the one that is compatible with your car

With those two you can retain your steering wheel controls and all the functions of you dash display and it will show the brand of you rhead unit when you are not doing anything.

Hope this helps you out
