Instrument panel

Hello again

Im having the same problems with my laguna instrument panel as I had last time, speedo rev counter fuel & temp guage not working.

Last week I managed to remove the dash disconnect the instrument panel reconnect it and then everything worked. I noticed my battery was not holding a charge so I replaced this. The instrument panel was ok for two days then it stopped working again.

When I remove either the live or neutral feed to the battery and then reconnect them the instrument panel comes back to life for the rest of that day, if the car is left over night when i start the car the following morning the Instrument panel fails again.

Please help

Could be a voltage drop problem - I suggest you get the battery checked and also the alternator output checked - best to rule out faulty electrics before blaming the dash.
May also be worth checking the leads to the battery
