Question Check Engine Lamp On-Turned off by pressing the clutch pedal!

This is my very first post so I hope it makes sense

I own a March 2004 Megane 1.9 Dci
It has an unusual problem that i cant figure out nor can the local Renault Agent.

Mostly when cold or damp/rain or after 200 miles1

When starting the car and leaving it at tickover the engine warning lamp will come on.

If i wait 20 secs it will go out and not come back on
If i press the clutch pedal it goes out and stays off!

Car has had new glow plugs and the egr and maf cleaned.

Mileage is 52k

Any ideas? Not sure if it is something to worry about or not.
Nothing showing on dealer code reader.

Thank you for your time.
