Not relevant at all mate, I looked at that thread, thats a general earth fault. This is to do with the steering wheel and the indicator arm assembly, when returning the steering to straight after making a turn, indicator arm should flick back to central/off position,but this does not happen, I have to try to remember to manually turn them off. Thanks for trying though :-)

Hi if memory serves me right this was a problem with stalks at this time where by this is what happened to them you need to replace the stalk i would say it will probely be better to go to your local breakers and buy one there as i think this will be very expensive to buy new but that up to you,they are very easy to replace a novice could do it and i hope this helps all the best Donald

I've merged your thread with another covering the same fault.

It seems that there is a common fault,so if either of you manage to sort out your problem,please come back and let us know how.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
