Temperature display - reading low

I have a laguna II initialie and the external temperature display is reading 2 - 3 degrees even though it is about 12 degrees outside.

1) any ideas please - where is the sensor positioned?

2) Is it connected to the climate control? I fancy the car seems to be getting hot?

thanks in advance

Hi stonedecay,

The external temperature sensor is located in bottom of one of the wing mirrors. Put your hand underneath and on one of them there is a small bump - thats the sensor. To change it you will need to take out the mirror glass I think.

Thinking about it Im not sure about your second question, it could well be linked in to the climate control, but not 100% on that. Im sure someone else will be able to answer your second question more thoroughly soon.

Hi Stone - if you have climate control and the external temp sensor is faulty it will not work correctly
