Thumbs up

Just to help anyone who is reading this thread.

Had the electrics checked out by a car electrician.

The problem turned out to be a relay that had been replaced in the wrong socket.

The socket shown in the haynes manual for the rear foglights cannot be used as it has a factory fitted bridge across it.

To make all of the lights work including the rear fogs we had to put a relay in the socket reserved for the FRONT foglights!!! which bearing in mind I don't have front foglights is a bit bizzare.

French for back is obviously front I must review the gearbox to see if i'm going in the right direction.

Conclusion - dont always rely on Haynes ( It is generally spot on in other aspects), and don't rely on the labeling in the car.
