Air Bag Light

Wonder if anyone can offer advice ?

I'm repairing my laguna 2 after third party accident damage, the airbags have deployed, so I've changed those, replaced dash etc. Cars back on the road now but the airbag warning light is still on has anyone experience of this or any ideas.

many thanks in advance for any suggestions or advise

As the ECU will have logged the air-bag deployment - you may have to get the ECU reset.

morf here i wofk in a breakers we have to detenate them good fun but the are conplicated , have you pressed the reset button under the bonnet a red thing rubber on the end second you need to replace the d.c.u the detination controle unit . to do this you need to find it it is usualy near hand break you need to lift the housin up there is like a scart plug un plug it and take the 4 bolts out get another one same make and model of car from a breakers . and then if the lights still on chek your plugs are connected properly . if still on you need to have it put on diagnostics and get it taken off it will be recorded . chanses are when you change the d.c.u. it will go away . the d.c.u. has a pundelum in side when it detinates it has to be changed . good luck.
