I take it you just push the dial joystick downwards towards the fold icon ?

Not a daft question at all - it had me stumped when I first got my Privilege.

You have to turn the dial so that the spot is next to the fold icon, just as you'd turn it to be next to the left or right mirror icon before adjusting that mirror.

in answer to someones question about whether you will damage the mirrors by moving them by hand - no they are okay.

i know this becuase i watched some IDIOTTTTTT fold out my mirror to look at his face in it - needless to say he just left it folded out too.

i went running out in my socks (!) to go mental at him - scared that he may have broken it - he cleared off and i was able to fold it back in with the switch. it worked fine as usual thank god!!!
