Question Handsfree kit in a Laguna ll

Hi, I expect this has been asked many times but I cant seem to find the answer. I have fitted a Nokia HFU-4 kit via the plug under the gear lever boot and all works OK using the Nokia speaker and mic. 2 questions,A speaker is fitted behind a small grille next to the headlamp adjuster switch and I have found the connector taped up behind it, but I am told I need a dual cone speaker, why is this?.Secondly, I have found a coax with an ISO type connector behind the radio, would that be the GSM aerial lead? Thanks.

Hi Howell - the speaker you refer to is for the speech system for the ECU - it reminds you to fasten seat belts, when you have a fault, etc so it ain't any good for anything else (not all cars have this system) I am not sure but the additional coaxial system may be for a GPS (satnav) system.
