Red face Retro fit passenger airbag to Trafic van?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if it is possible to retro fit a passenger air bag to a trafic van? I'm not sure if this would mean a new loom, or whether the vans come with wiring for passenger airbags whether they've got one fitted or not?

Help please!

Hello Annabanna and welcome, I'm honestly not sure maybe some of the guys that have experience of Traffic vans will help.

I'm sure if you can then you will require to replace part if not the whole dash and have the UCH / ECU reprogrammed to recognise the fact that there is an airbag where there wasnt one before, it may also require the retro fitting of front impact sensors ... this could end up a very expensive retro fit.

Hope you get your answer

Why is it the older I get .... the better I think I was ?
