paulb you must have more cash than you know what to do with a replacement mech for each side would only have cost less than 120 in total if bought on eBay as has been suggested in these forums the whole job is about 1/2 hour a side

never got round to the back window as while seaching for a drivers footwell leak i took the drivers front door card off to find the window regulator knackered loose wires and plastic clips broke off , just bought one on ebay for 44 with 8 postage , what are they like to fit , anything i should know

Hi Jamesy - the window regulator isn't too hard to fit - just take your time and remember were everything goes. Holding the window up whilst exchanging the components can be a nuisance. When I'm ready to move the window up I get someone elase to hold then use large cuts of duct tape to keep it in the closed position.
Before fitting the new one make sure all the wires and pulleys are well greased
