OK we all know how to change MPH to KPH when the vehicle is stationary. But what about when driving between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland (where signage is in KPH). If one is to keep within the law of each Nation, it is necessary to stop and change the display every time the border is crossed. That might be three or four times in ten minutes or so on some roads! Surely it should be possible to change the display without stopping. If not, I'm sure that makes Renault cars in contravention of some European Directive that speedometers must display both MPH and KPH.
Can any members from Ireland shed any light on this one?
