Clio Mk3 Reversing Lights

Got a Clio Mk3 and no reversing lights coming on
- Checked the bulbs; they're fine
- No voltage when you engage reverse
- Think the fuse is ok. Any idea which fuse its on, is it indicators, brake lights, interior lights and others or somewhere else.

Think it might be a microswitch in the gearbox when you select reverse...
Taken all the trim around the gearstick off and can't see anything, not even some wires. Am I gonna have to get under the car to find it?
Advise, tips welcome
