Dashboard and Radio blank

My 2004 Scenic the dashboard has gone blank and there are no lights or power to the radio. You'd think it would be a simple fuse but I've checked them all and seem to be ok, has anyone else suffered from this and found a solution.

It's very annoying because none of the guages are visible (eg speed and fuel) making driving almost impossible.

Any suggestions apart from Renault dealer?

Hi not sure if it will help or even work but make sure you have the radio code first,i would disconnect the battery and leave for 5-10 Min's and then reconnect and see if this helps but i have to say its a long shot cheers Donald.

I am currently having the same probelm with my 53 plate Scenic. I have completely lost the dash/instrument panel but everything else works ok including radio. I took it back to the place i bought it as it still has 2 months on the warranty and they took it to Renaults who confirmed the problem. Renault originally agreed to replace it free of charge as a 'gesture of good will' but they have since said that they wont do it. The company i bought it from also wont shell out as they say it is not covered under the warranty. Renault wanted the best part of 500 to fix it, the new part being 341 + vat. If i was you i would get onto Renault and see what they have to say.

Good luck

Just Suffered Same Problems Yesterday. 2004 Scenic Display Panel Completely Blank. Radio Still Work But No Displays Whatsoever. Unsure Of Driving It Now As No Speedo Or Petrol Gauge Displayed. Phoned Renault Who Advised To Join Aa And Call Them Out. Can't See Point Of This Really As Car Is Drivable And It Is Not Actually A Breakdown Any Other Ideas Or Suggestions?
