Seat Wiring

My wife's Scenic has a wire hanging loose underneath the driver's seat.

I spoke to the local Renault dealer who said it was part of the seat memory system and to reattach would involve the removal of the seat (at a cost no doubt)

The car does not have any sort of seat memory so is this n unused wire which should be just taped up out of the way or is it a different item altogether.

Any ideas please

Sorry about the duff photos but it was not until I uploaded them that I noticed how bad they were (had to lie on my back with head under seat to take them)

I take it the airbag light is not on all the time? If this is the case then in all probability you could just tape the connector up out of the way
