Problem solved....sort of.....

Did like BigVern & checked the socket between the door & car pillar & yep, it was wet.

Dried it out & now the drivers door window works fine. The drivers passenger switch still doesn't work, but I can live with that as it's easy enough to reach across to the passengers window switch.
