Once the clip is undone to remove the old plug - a real pain - flies in
The biggest socket I had perhaps a 32 just fit the top end of the box spanner which was 26/24mm - 24 fits the part - and then again the wrench just had enough access. The airbox also now flies in and out since I broke off those extra edge bits that get in the way
As an added bonus and I'm yet to confirm this since I was doing all motorway driving since I fitted the replacement - third gear crunch seems to be alot better... here's hoping that's cured and my new box is good as ... err... new!
Edit: now, do I go back to the garage that fitted the gearbox and tell em they owe me £150 for a replacement satnav plus £18 for a replacement reverse light switch?
