clio key fob battery

ive been having problems with my key fob and battery ive had to replace the battery a couple of times within the past year.
this could be due to snapping half of the metal strip that holds the battery in place. And i think this might be the reason why it loses it charge so quickly
can anyone confirm this? or had expeirence of it?
do you guys think it might possible to get a old key fob from a scrap dealer?
for any help

It may be possible to transfer all the internals from your key to one you get from a scrappers. They can't be reprogrammed though.
