2002 Clio Key Fob Trauma

Just bought a used Clio, only one key. Pressed button and no light.

The seller said battery needed replacing and would work-however replaced battery and no luck. Car will start, central locking working with console button etc.

Have read lots of different solutions but as I only have one key don't want to risk it and not being able to start car, also don;t want to be ripped off by a dealer.

Any help, thank you

Hi sorry to here this the only place you will be able to get a key made is Renault i am afraid 130 and you will also have to bring proof of ownership with you and i believe it takes about 2 weeks, you might be able to have the key you have repaired this has been talked about on the forum before have a search of the forums search facility and see what you come up with cheers i hope this helps Donald.
