2000 1.816V Sport CTS locations?

Hi Folks,

I have a problem with my Laguna. On cold start up it is idling at between 2000 - 3000 rpm which is way higher than it used to even in the cold.

As the engine warms up, the revs drop slowly but not before revving on its own between 1500-2000 rpm without throttle being touched.

I know there are simlar threads to this but my main question is: which coolant temperature sensor links with the ECU in this car? The one on the rhs of block in the thermostat housing controls the temp gauge and cooling fan cut in and seems to be working fine. Is there another CTS in this engine? I cannot see one anywhere but want to eliminate it as cause if there is.

I have already replaced the idle control valve and there are no apparent vacum leaks. Any help would be appreciated.

I think your engine may also have an Inlet Air Temperature sensor on the inlet manifold
