Hi metallicat,

Mechanic had a mate at Renault and he said this is quite a common problem. There is some sort of "valve" in the manifold(don't think lambda sensor is here, think it's in cat). Mechanic removed manifold and cleaned this valve ever since car has been running great. Got charged about 100 though as quite difficult to get to allegedly.
