Rear Driver side indicator

I have had continuous problems with the rear driver side indicator going recently from normal speed to double speed but only intermittently. I have had 2 Renualt garages "look" at this over 5 times and they have replaced the bulb/s and bulb holders, the connections to the bulb holders etc etc and still it keeps going. I don't want to assume suspicion but my warrently runs out in the next month and I don't feel all is being done to correct the problem. To this end I have contacted Renault UK who are now liasing with a garage to get this booked in and, I am hoping, either re wire the driver side completely or replace the whole rear lighting unit. Has anyone else had this problem or any suggestions as to what maybe cauusing it?
