scenic 2 diagnostic plug wiring

hi there,

can anyone help me?
i have a 53 plate scenic 2 and when i took it to the garage to get a fault found they went to plug in to the diagnstic socket but found that someone had botched this up when doing something to the car.
can anyone supply me with a wiring diagram for the diagnostic socket as my main dealer wants to take the car in and check all the wiring and fit a new wiring loom which will cost me hundreds to get done so they say.

i can buy my own plug and fit it for a few quid if i only had the wiring diagram.

Welcome to the forum.

I haven't got a diagram I'm afraid, but one thing that might be worth considering is finding a plug with wires attatched from another late model Renault at a breakers yard and matching up the wires by colour.I certaintly wouldn't let Renault fit a new loom as (you quite rightly say) this would cost a crazy amount of money.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
