Question faulty electric window

Is there anyone out there that can help with an electric window problem.
I drive a scenic 1.9 dci on a 53 plate and the nearside back electric window has developed a mind of its own!
It will, whilst driving, suddenly opens by itself and I dont seem to be able to close it from the switch mounted on the drivers door or the switch on the door itself. I've had to cover the window with a poly bag on one occasion to stop the rain getting in until I had chance to look into it (was on nights at the time) but it seems that if I leave it for some time it eventualy comes back to life. I've tried to analyse the fault but to no avail, and even had the door trim panel off and had an inspection of the wiring (whilst I was in there I changed the white plastic window runner before it breaks). Any thought would be very greatfull as I have posted questions before and got some very helpfull answers.
Thank a heap
