Climate back light

Just a quick post about lack of back light on the climate control unit, my light flickered when i pushed the right hand side so I took it apart (easy job all just unclips) & found it to be the bit labeled 101 as I fiddled with it the lights lit up but then it broke off.
After searching on the forum it seemed as though i would need to solder it back on but as I have no solder gun I decided a different approach I blue tacked a panel pin to the back of the 101 applied a small amount of superglue to the back & glued it back in place using a little pressure, if you do this with the lights on you can tell you have it in the right place because the LED's light up,hold for awhile & he-presto.
