airbag warning light / service light

I have a problem like quite a few with my airbag light coming on with my megane. A local garage did a diagnostic and said it is the passenger side seat. I have checked the connections to the airbag sensors and they are firm, checked the wires running under the seat and seem fine. There is a panel under the seat which has several wires and connectors under there, and wondering if any of these could be causing the problem. They are well concealed and don't get knocked about like the wire under the seat, so is it possible these connectors could cause the problem - would soldering them sort the problem??

Hi Johnny. Have a quick search through the forums. This is a fault often discussed. It's a problem that affects lots of manufacturers and the usual answer is the under-seat connectors. The connector can be hardwired if necessary, but you may need to get Renault to reset the warning indicator...
