Adjusting the sensitivity of the auto-lights

Hi all - Does anyone know if it's possible to adjust the sensitivity of the auto-lights sensor on my 2005/6 Laguna II phase II 1.9DCi, so they come on earlier as the outside light levels fall?

They work perfect when entering and exiting a tunnel, and when it's dark, but they don't switch on until the outside light levels fall quite low (ie, much lower than I would manually switch them on).

My wife has a VW EOS with auto headlights, and they come on much earlier as the light levels fall.

Finally, can anyone advise me as to which sensor on the windscreen is the light sensor, and which is the rain sensor (ie, the purple circles, or the LED style row)?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer....

Try covering both sensors with something opaque - that way you can figure out which one. I think the sensitivity is set at the factory and can only be changed by interrogating the UCH - if still under warranty why not take it back
