Hi your local Renault dealer will supply it but for what price???iam unsure,i have had this talk before but i could be wrong but i was not aware it needs a code well my 2002 Espace does not if the battery is disconnected but the 2004 could well be different i hope this helps Donald.

Unless it's been written down somewhere you've got a lot of work on your hands.

I have recovered the code from my Clio, you need a soldering iron and an EEPROM reader. I believe this forum has a policy about giving out codes / advice regarding codes, so I probably can't say any more :P

Can't remember where I saw it, but I recently read that if you take it to a Renault dealer with proof of ownership (V5C) then they will give you the code free of charge.

Now I know this sounds highly unlikely, but I guess it would be worth a phone call to your local Renault dealer to find out.

Definetely worth trying the dealers then!

Car audio places may be able to help - a recode is usually around 10+
