Does anyone one know where the voltage regulator is located ,,,haynes does not even mention it and i don't know where to look.

The voltage regulator for the temp and fuel gauge is usually part of the dash electronics board but before diving in there it may be prudent to check the connections and cables on the fuel tank sender unit and the coolant temp sender. If there is a poor connection or earth this will affect the voltage as both share the same supply
