hi all..i have a problem with a renault laguna 2003 1.9 dci expression

....i bought this car about a week ago and have found that either the 'serv' or 'stop' light is on constantly.....

does any1 know y this is.....the only fault on the car is a dodgy tyre valve..

does anybody know what these lights mean as i dnt have a manual....could the two be connected?

Hi luckee7

If you are really lucky it could be as easy as top up the brake fluid in the master cylinder.

The key here is the dodgy tyre valve. If a tyre pressure is low you're supposed to get a flashing tyre in the centre display, the yellow "flat tyre" light on the dash, and the serv light on the dash. If the tyre is flat you're supposed to get the same but with the stop light on the dash instead of serv.
