boot problem

electronic boot sensor
hi all new to this looking for some advice

i drive a grand scenic 07 plate, anyway today on a day trip the boot was closed inadvertently onto a sleeve of a coat, now the boot cannot be opened or closed tightly enough to activate the central locking, i have tried to release the locking mechanisn via the internal release, but still the same problem

at present the car is unsecure on the street, i have removed the bulbs from the courtesy lights so to the unkown the door is secure, but you never now these days with the opportuinists out there

if the car is still under warranty, I would return it to the dealer and not tell them what happened with the coat sleeve, but just that you cannot use the central locking

Life is too short...laugh and enjoy it while you are able to
