Nice work,thank-you very much for the update.

The sensors give problems for two main reasons.....

Metal filings stick to the magnet on it and block it's signal.

The wiring plug comes loose and the sensor goes open circuit,again no signal.

Most of the time if you remove the sensors and clean the magnetic part of it it will be fine.If it's a connection issue there is a replacement wiring connector for it that can be soldered in,although the wire colours don't always match up to the wiring loom.

We fitted a sensor and connector to a Clio 2 automatic this week and logic told us that the pink wires go together,and the yellow and white wires go together......but no,it goes the other way round.
