welcome to the forum. There have been plenty of posts relating to electric windows so you should find the answers you need.

The door card usually has a few hidden screws to remove, then it lifts clear to expose the inner of the door

Hi, I had to do this when the NSF door window fell down into the door (the green plastic window guide had broken, you can get these off eBay !).

Prise off the trim on the door grab handle which will expose two screws which need to be removed. Prise off the small round blank behind the door unlocking handle which will expose a screw that needs to be removed, then lever the handle off the door panel and then disconnect the locking cable from the back of the handle by using a small flat blade screwdriver. The handle can now be removed.

Next, carefully lever out the footwell light at the bottom of the door and disconnect the plug. "While you're down there" , remove the two screws that secure the bottom of the trim to the door.

Prise up the electric window switch panel from the arm rest, disconnect the plug and remove the switch panel.

To release the top part of the door trim, you have to grab the top edge and pull (hard) to release the plastic clips ...note that when you have done this, the top trim will still be attached to the bottom panel by plastic hinges.

With the top panel hinged down, remove the single securing screw you will see then lift the whole panel upwards and forwards slightly to release it from the door frame. Don't lift the panel too far away from the door frame at this point as you will need to disconnect the speaker cable plug and then withdraw the footwell light cable grommet from the panel. Once done, the whole trim panel assembly can be removed so you can access the window regulator etc.

Hope this helps.

Same has just happened to my 2004 1.5 Dci tonite -
Thanx to abdr1 for your instructions, the biggest issue here is making the vehicle secure until repairs are completed, gonna remove the panels tomorrow and wedge a bit of wood under the glass and the door bottom to make the vehicle secure again until I get it fixed.
