alarm going off

The alarm on my 54 scenic II keeps going off intermittently during the night - I have been locking the car from the lock button in the car for a few months.
The bonnet switch had snapped, so I blamed this, as many threads point to this. I removed the switch last night, and the alarm started at about 11pm.
Does anyone have any other ideas what may cause this?
Renault told me they desensitised the settings, so can someone please tell me how can do this.

The vibration from a lorry passing mine sets it off even when parked quite far away, seems its to sensitive.

Sounds like you need new volumetric sensors.
