Laguna 97 Indicator/relays

Hi, need some help on relays. My hazard lights have been on continuosly unless i remove the fuse, this has been out for the last 2 months, and now my standard indicators have stopped. I cant hear the obvious clicking of the relay and wonder if the original problem has now got worse. Thinking mayb a relay has gone and both problems maybe fixed in one!!! ..............Thanks

The first thing I'd do is try disconnecting the hazard light switch. It's possible that this is faulty. I'm not sure how the indicators would operate without the switch present, but if this doesn't improve matters, then a replacement switch from a scrappy might be worth a try if it's cheap enough.

The panel with the button on it just pops out, and the connector comes off the rear easily enough. It's got to be worth a try before you start digging deeper.

Laguna II Hazard Light Switch

Could anyone help?
My hazard light switch don't seem to latch at the off position, thus always ON unless I hold it down with tape or something. I try to check the switch assembly but could someone show me how to dismantle? Looks like you can access from the hand brake area if removing the leather cover. Thks.
