It may be worth geting the voltage at the light checked to see by how much its voltage varies. Batteries don't take kindly to lack of use so it may be worth getting the battery load tested - many suppliers will do a load test for free in the hope of a sale. Testing the voltage across the battery with a multimeter or such is not a true test of the batteries capability.

THE ENGINE MANAGEMENT LIGHT HAS FINALLY GONE OFF...on its own after travelling 40 miles so Im wondering if it was something to do with the CAT and the fume inside...anyway thanks for everyones input....as it a new car to me i need to ask another question which ill list.

Could very well have been the cat lot's of short
runs or start ups would not give it time to get up
to normal operating temp, now it's been good and
hot it may have cleaned it's self out.

Currently in Ralph's garage:
Clio 15 DCi 80, Kawasaki W800, Yamaha MT-07, LMS 5MT 3 1/2 inch Gauge.
