Immobiliser Change

Hi all, first time poster but long time reader. Apologies if this has already been asked but I could not find it!

On my 98 Megane I have 1 IR key for locking/unlocking the doors and for disabling the anti theft system. If I was to get a set of locks (doors, boot and ignition) with 2 keys from a scrap car and take the IR reciever from the sun roof area, could I put the system into my car to have 2 keys for a lot less than getting Renault to get me a new key or do I need all ECU 's to actually disarm the immobiliser?

the IR reciever at the sunroof is simply that,a reciever,it does not decode the signal from the you also need the ecu and possibly uch if fitted from your donar car
